It's just popped up on Netflix, never seen it. Worth watching?

No.
I am furious that they wasted so much of my time enticing me into that huge pile of time wasting shite.
Furious.
Piss taking, utter utter shite balls with random crap thrown in for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Gove it a miss.

Watch instead:
Peaky Blinders
Killing Eve
GOT
Schitts Creek

First 2-3 seasons were good but then it dragged on and we felt we had to carry on watching it to get to the end. Which was bitterly disappointing and made me wish I'd stopped years earlier.

So yes, give it a go. But you know when it jumps the shark and give up then.

It was apparently only ever meant to be 3, but the network wanted it stretched to 6, which it was. But then it was a victim of the writers' strike, so went haywire for a couple of seasons, as well as dragging stuff out to get the required number of seasons.

I may watch it again, even though I was disappointed by the ending!

That makes a lot of sense. The storyline definitely went haywire after season 3.

I loved it first time round, yes the last series or two becomes too much but great up until then. Just started watching with DD tonight, I'd forgotten so many good characters.

Me too.

I loved it.

Manifest is maybe similar but inferior acting.

I really enjoyed the acting on Lost.

I recently re watched season 1 and then the finale again and that was great. It went so off piste in the middle I can't believe I stuck with it weekly back then.

I can't get into Manifest, the bloody "callings" are just irritating. Every episode I'm caring less and less about the characters.

I'm currently re-watching with my DS16.

Loved it the first time.

Loving it again - even though I know all the shocks and cliffhangers.

From and Wayward Pines are much better than Lost and don’t drag on and on the way it did. It was subject to greed and terrible writing. They kept throwing in curveball after curveball that went nowhere. I’m still cross that I stuck with it.

Loved Hurley, he was a great character in the series 😀

PensivePencil · 25/08/2024 00:00

Yes! I loved it, including the end!

I’d forgotten about Sawyer 😍

Just watch Yellowstone instead. He’s not in it for all of it, but the series is so much better overall.

This whole thread has just made me angry all over again.🤣 It really was sooooo good, but then went so badly wrong that I just couldn’t continue past about season 2.5, I think.
