Random US Tiktok person apparently proving British food not bland. I wasn’t aware that it had the rep of being so in the US (so if the purpose of news is to inform then maybe I have answered my own question 🤷♀️). Last time my US cousin came over, he and his wife tested things like cheese before it was passed to their kids, they said in case it was too strong. In terms of international food reps, it seems like a bit of a bottom of the table play off (I think the food is good here, much improved on the 1970s anyway but am talking in terms of broad brush global perception).
