I would still wear jeans and maybe a slightly smarter jumper? And a rain coat!

Wear what you would normally wear for a bottomless brunch (assuming inside) and then check the forecast for the football. If you think you'll need it, add a coat/cardigan/ jacket.

i wouldn’t wear jeans if you are going to get soaked at the football (very rainy here), they take too long to dry. If it’s dry where you are, it really doesn’t matter what you wear to football!

Take a small bag with a change of clothes?

Often can’t take anything bigger than A4

Wear a nice top under a jumper, and jeans? It's looking pretty wet today, and Prem games aren't the warmest anyway. You won't want to be "fancy".

Check baggage restrictions, too. Unless you've got somewhere you can keep a change of clothes that isn't on you, like your car, you probably can't take one - there's usually quite a small baggage allowance.
