Lloyds bank on a Saturday

I'm trying to get through to Lloyds bank on the phone. All the information on the website says they are open 9-2 on Saturdays but once I get through the automated security questions, it tells me they're shut

Anyone work for them or had more luck than me?!

It is a bank holiday weekend, perhaps that makes a difference? Or they are short staffed and don't want people waiting hours?

Maybe it's because it's a bank holiday weekend, but it's only a normal Saturday- obviously Monday is different.

Anyway, I'll just have to be frustrated until Tuesday!

Is there a branch near you that might be open?

Thanks. Unfortunately it's miles away and I can't drive at the moment for health reasons.
