Dad died in 2001 is ashes were in an urn which was on the shelf in mums living room.
Mum died in June her ashes and dads are now on a shelf in younger brother's house.
They can't stay there forever.
There are 5 children and none of us know what to do with them.
Dad hated the main cemetery and had already died when a new one was created.
Mum died before the new one opened in July this year.
Mum used to walk her dogs along the field where this new cemetery is now.
As it's a new one they have not created a memorial garden. Supposedly soon.

3 of us want to just scatter the ashes along this field/cemetery.
Are we allowed or do we need permission.
2 want to inter in the main one. Mums sister is wanting this as well.
I'm one of the 3.

Many people go quietly to a spot and scatter ashes. I wouldn't ask anyone just go one morning and do it. They won't damage anything or cause harm.
However it is nice to have a spot to take flowers and a small stone with the names and I can see why some would like this.
Or just a place to sit and think of the loved ones if it's a memorial garden.
