DC and I went to a samba drumming workshop earlier this week, and it was a lot of fun. I was thinking it was would be a great hobby to take up. Problem is I would be a complete beginner. Does anyone know how you go about getting involved in a samba band? Do you need to be an accomplished drummer first? Or can you join an amateur group where you learn as you go along and join in with performances when you get good enough?
