Help me remember what this song is from a car advert

Please - ‘cos it’s doing my head in.

It’s from the last 3-5 years (I think - the years are flying by), and all I can remember is that it’s a big ballad reminiscent of a 50s or 60s song and sung by a female vocalist. I thought the ad was from Mercedes but can’t find it on Google so maybe another brand? Iirc the car was floating through a night sky. The song was released separately after the advert.

Isn't it called "Oh Lord won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz"? If I'm wrong I'll have another think, just type that title into Google and it'll bring it up

No, neither of those - it’s by a female singer and it’s a soaring type of ballad. I had it on my playlist and lost it, now desperately trying to remember what it was as I loved it. It sounded like it could have come from a film in the 60s, had that sort of vibe to it.

No, not At Last. It was a new song written for the ad which was then released.

Was going to suggest Paloma Faith - Make your own kind of music, it was the Skoda advert but she is well known. Definite 60’s
