What are you having to 'unlearn' as an adult?

Forgive the term 'unlearn', I hate it.

But it did get me thinking about things I did as a child which I've changed now I'm an adult.

For me, it was never walking anywhere. In my family we never walked, even if it would have taken 5/10 mins we got in the car instead. I actually thought for a long time that a mile was a super unbelievably long distance that wasn't even walkable.

I now thoroughly enjoy walking where possible.

That doing exercise and being fit isn’t just for really boring people! I can’t say I love the actual exercise and I don’t think I ever will, but I work out at least 5 days out of 7 and miss it when I don’t. I even do it on holiday. This is very strange to me as I always associated exercise with sports bores and PE misery. (I still hate sport though).

@AtomicBlondeRose I'm so glad you were able to include exercise in your life, I really think it's one of the best things you can do for your physical and mental health!

I wish they’d taught us how to use weights/gym equipment in PE, or let us run alone, instead of forcing us to play team sports. I agree the mental health benefits are so great.
