How refreshing to see

Women and girls of all ages, shapes and sizes wearing bikinis on a beach in the Algarve, and not seemingly giving a damn about being body conscious.

DD20 and I just spent the day on the beach and she remarked how refreshing it was to see this, and how it just feels so different to being in the UK where so many seem to have hang ups about their bodies - regardless of their shape or size.

Maybe it's to do with living in a climate where you are often spending time on beaches?

Most continental women aren't anywhere near as fat as Brits.

They were all shapes and sizes but it was their self confidence we really admired.

I live near a beach in the UK and went last week and there were also women of all sizes in bikinis who gave zero fucks.

I think it’s more a weather thing than a cultural one.
