Being a bit paranoid here - call from Lithuania?

I wasn't going to answer at first then remembered a friend goes abroad every month and thought there might be a slim chance it was him.

It's not a new scam is it? I answered, could just hear bar noise in the background then the person hung up.

Bear with me, I'm a bit tired and stressed at present so probably imagining it's a scam :)

If they hung up and you did, don't worry!

It's probably a scam call, yes. But it doesn't really matter if you pick them up. Just block the number.

If your pal was in trouble in Lithuania they'd try and contact you and others by multiple means. So don't worry about that. You could text that person just to check. But block the number and forget it.
