Hi All, I was hoping to get some feedback on heavy/excessive ectopic heartbeats. I'm 42yrs old and they started about 2 years ago now, I had an ECG a while ago that showed I have a 3% heavy burden, c.3,500 per 24hr period. My recent ECG showed it's now excessive, nearer 9/10% burden and around 10,000 per 24hr period. A lot of the posts I have read are for much lower episodes, and I just wondered if anyone had experience in this category? I tried beta blockers previously and they affected my sleep, so had to come off them. They are now going to try a calcium medication. I've been advised that I'm at a higher risk of AF, but doctors don't seem to be pushing for a resolution....... I wondered if anyone had to undergo the op at this stage?
