I had a colonoscopy on Monday and 2 polyps were removed there and then. One was in the colon and one in the anal passage. For months I've been having a truly dreadful feeling of pressure in my bum. It's felt like I've got a huge poo permanently stuck and that I need to get rid of it but can't. When the doctor pointed out the polyp in my anal passage I naturally thought it was the cause of this horrible sensation. I assumed that once it was removed, I would be free of the feeling.
However, whilst it is not quite as bad as before I can still feel that "blocked" sensation in my bum. Is this just where the polyp was cut away and it needs to heal perhaps? Does anyone have any experience of this please?
