I completely messed up and forgot to do something, which impacted the business, this is very unlike me and I can’t stop beating myself up about it and feel mortified. Luckily it can be sorted.
Even my colleagues were shocked as it’s not like me, so feel like a complete let down and have reassured i won’t let it happen again.

Please share your dropping the ball at work stories so I feel like it’s not just me 😂I’m feeling so bad about myself right now

Once I totally misread the timings on a schedule I was sending out to participants...but not on the one to the delivery team, so we and the speakers all turned up and 500 attendees arrived over an hour later. That was a bad day 😅 but you live and learn!!!!

I once completely forgot about a group I was running as hadn't put in it my diary. So I had a group of parents and children turn up to a venue and I was on leave and no one knew who to contact and it was just terrible. Made worse by the previous group being cancelled late notice due to a colleagues sickness. Thankfully I was able to apologise and rectify the following week. It was 10 years ago and I still think about it.
My friend when trying to make me feel better told me about a time she had to pay someone's expenses and paid them £5000 instead of £500 and then it became this huge thing.
Mistakes happen!!
