London for girls trip

teenboymom · 22/08/2024 02:07

Myself and group of 7 girls coming over from Dublin. We are going to Brighton for two nights but doing one night in London.

We had booked an Airbnb in Piccadilly but is that the best place to stay. We want lively but it will be a Thursday. Also would love a rooftop bar with view.

Any recommendations

I can rebook accommodation if there is a better area, close to bars etc

It's a good location. Most office days are Tuesday and Thursday and Thursdays tend to really busy/lively.

Most of the rooftops I'm thinking of are in the City (Sky Garden, Gherkin, Sushi Samba/Duck &Waffle, Coq D'Argent, City Social even Madisson) but easy enough to get to from where you are.

Sounds like it will be fun

the Nest in langham place is lovely and probably a bit less busy than most.

Piccadilly Circus is obviously incredibly central but very busy but for a couple of days in London it’ll be great. If you wanted central but a bit quieter then Bloomsbury is a good place to base yourself (although no idea how much that would cost).

Thanks, that's great, will look into these!

If you're staying in Piccadilly, the obvious thing is to get theatre tickets.

I'd love to but we literally arrive at 6pm Thursday and then heading to Brighton the next day so we won't have time
