Just been watching an episode of Lewis, off to bed now.

Just watched the pilot episode of snowfall on the iplayer with DH. Should be having an early night but pissing about on here instead. Might go and make a cuppa.

Coming back on the train from dinner with friends, browsing through 99p cookbook deals on kindle and planning elaborate meals for a rainy BH weekend in Cornwall!!

I’ve ordered a Corinne Lapierre felt kit and I’ll be happy in a couple of evenings because I can sew something whilst sitting in the lounge but won’t have to take part in the watching of crap tv.

Watched an oldie goldie murder mystery on ITVX.

Strange how I find these programs so soothing .

Had drinks with funny friends. Now on an epic train home though. I’m sure I’ll pay with a hangover tomorrow. Glad I scheduled that early meeting 🙈

Going to bed in a moment, it’s been a very long day.

I’m reading MN in bed. I’m going to finish my book in a minute.

DH has just gone to bed in the spare room because he doesn’t feel well. He’s been flying as part of his job today, but it was a small plane, which smelt of fumes and it was turbulent so it made him air sick. He’s not stopped moaning since he got home. I’m glad it’s warm otherwise the dressing gown of doom would have come out. 🙄

*disclaimer I am sympathetic when he’s not well, or when anyone is not well, if they do it quietly. It’s the moaning I can’t stand.

just watched a couple of episodes of game of thrones (i've decided to binge watch from the beginning), and now sitting in bed mindlessly scrolling through MN. I know i should go to sleep.. but here we are

Found a children's book called The Witch Trade by Michael Molloy which was actually really good so sat on the sofa and read that.
Also used one of those £1 foot masks from Poundland. Deleted a few emails. I thought about entering some of the competitions found on said emails, but mostly didn't.
Played that Pop and Refresh game on the coke app.
Considered going upstairs and adding to my charity bag but we went swimming today and I'm still shattered so I stayed on the sofa and scrolled Mumsnet.
The only reason anything made it into the charity bag in the first place was because I spent ages searching for my swimsuit and trying to remember if we'd actualy been swimming since lockdown!

Drinking wine on the patio. Reading MN and waiting the hedgehog to make an appearance.

Having a wine, playing Subnautica, waiting for my toffee apple loaf cake to bake because I felt the first whisper of autumn on the air today and immediately wanted to make spiced things.

we have a hedgehog too.. we call him henry, and we build him a house at the bottom of the garden, he's been coming for years (i admit its probably not the same one every year but we like to dream it is)

we occasionally also have a badger come visit too
