Hi all, I’m looking for a book I can take with me tomorrow when I have lots of hanging around to do.
As an example, I loved Marian Keyes, Jane Casey, Mick Herron, Ann Cleeves, Chris Brookmyre (particularly the early stuff), Khaled Hosseini, Bella Mackie, Mhairi McFarlane and Curtis Sittendeld what else would I love?

TIA

Liane Moriarty- any of her books.

The Whalebone Theatre by Joanna Quinn

Shrines of Gaiety by Kate Atkinson (I also really enjoy her books too).

Try the LJ Ross Holy Island series. They're all murder mysteries set around Northumberland.

Have you read The Island by Victoria Hislop? Recently read it and enjoyed it.
