Help with some good, long books for journeys please!

I need some inspiration for long books and audiobooks to make a lot of travelling more bearable. 500+ pages, or over 15 hours listening.
I like most genres but not memoirs or celebrity twaddle, not overly keen on romance or heavy sci fi.
Just me, so no need for it to be family friendly either!
I had a mooch in a bookshop today but nothing grabbed me.
Suggestions please!

I loved the audiobook of All My Mothers by Joanna Glen.. 11 hours long and brilliantly read.

You could listen to the whole Anne of green gables series. That'll keep you going for a while. Feel good stuff.
