Blue filter on prescription glasses - warning!

Just recently got new glasses from Boots Opticians and asked if I wanted the blue filter for eye protection against screen use. Since I use my phone etc a lot I thought sounds like a good idea.

However, this is what they look like in photos. The blue filter reacts like this. I was not told at the time of ordering.

So this is a kind of warning but also can anyone suggest help apart from photoshop please?

Just ask the optician to remove it?! Most opticians give you a time period during which you can change your mind about frames/ lenses etc. I have done this several times when frames or filters were not quite right for me.

Thanks! I mentioned it when I went in for something else but the assistant was very helpful about it but I'll try again.

Take them back. I’ve not had an issue taking glasses back to Boots before.
