I am new here so sorry I’m advance if this is posted wrong.
I have an almost 4month old little girl. She’s my second, my son just turned 3. She has been an extremely cross baby since she was born, crying non stop round the clock, red in the face, straight out like a board, couldn’t even wind her she would be so rigid, only went poo once or twice a week and it would always be dark green and smell just awful. I have a good stomach and not bad with smells but even my 60 year old dad who farts all the time couldn’t even stick the smell of her gas and poos. I went GP and A&E but they just said she had reflux and gave her some medicine which did nothing.
I was back in Ireland for a week when she was 10weeks to meet all my family and someone suggested I take her to an osteopath that was really popular, so I went and he told me she 100% had a CMP allergy. I came straight back to the UK and got her prescribed with Nutramigen. I have also had a telephone call with a dietitian who just asked me the story and then said “ok I’ll continue this prescription until 1year old”. The problem is that she’s not improved much and her nappies are still so terrible. Only difference is she goes every day now instead which is a positive, but they are always upto her neck, so smelly and have mucus and runny and green, Sometimes such a dark green. Sometimes they are sticky, to the point that I have to just bath her to get the poo off. The dietitian said this is normal when on Nutramigen BUT her nappies have been like this since she was born. Not once has anyone asked to see a photo of one etc. My son was an excellent baby, never had issues and nappies were always mustard colour. She is also gaining weight normal but she can only handle 3/4oz in a feed and still feeds every 2hrrs.
