It's my birthday this week, a round number. I'll be spending it with my partner. I've three children, my mother and that's it for family. No friends nearby, although I'm meeting a friend later in the week.
I'm just feeling sorry for myself tonight, would have liked a big party with friends and family. My children don't live nearby, one is abroad and can't get away from work, one has a new baby and one can't travel. I've lost touch with a lot of friends over the years, the ones I'm still in touch with are far away.
My partner isn't spending a lot at the moment due to having just bought a house.
I'm sure I'll have a lovely time with my partner though.
