Child benefit

DS turned 18 at the start of August and finished school in June. If I was to receive CB I would be due it tomorrow. It should cease being paid, from what I can gather, when the child turns 18, so does that mean I’m fine and it won’t be paid tomorrow, or is it paid in arrears? If so, does anyone know if the process of ‘returning’ it is easy? Thanks in advance.

Chb entitiement is usually until the first Monday of September.

Yep first Monday in Sept same rules as CMS

Depends if he's still in full time education?? If he is then you can get it until he's 19. Unless things have changed I'm unaware of.
