How to send an email like this to hairdresser?

Sorry, I feel this is a really basic question!

I’m getting my hair coloured and the salon. As part of a virtual consultation they asked me to send them photos of my hair now and what I want done before my appointment. They have also asked for photos of what I don’t like too. Happy to do this.

But is there a way that I can get specific photos embedded after specific sentences in the email body? I’m just worried all the attachments might get jumbled up and it may be hard for her to follow, especially as I’m going to attach pictures showing examples of hair I don’t like. I’m using an iCloud email and I think it just adds them as attachments. There’s about 8 pictures I want to send.

Edit each photo - add a text box or write directly into the photo. Most photo apps will allow you to do this. You can also add arrows etc to the parts of the haircut you want to mention.

You could use imgur and put a caption on each pic

When I've done stuff like this previously I just type it out as a google doc / word doc and then email it as an attachment

You should just be able to copy and paste the image in to the main body of the email before or after each sentence.

Or use the insert option.

Just write it out in Word or PowerPoint and send it as an attachment? Or save each image as 'image 1', 'image 2' etc then in the email refer to them as that - ie I like the root colour of image 1 but hair colour of image 2, style of image 3 etc

Thanks everyone! All of your posts make sense, it’s just turning into a bit of a palaver as it’s definitely a conversation better held in person! I’m saying I do like certain bits in this photo but not other aspects.

I think I’ll do what @Secondguess suggested but also put it in a word document so it’s organised.
