White/cream crotchet floral cardigan for wedding?

We have a wedding the beginning of September. I’m looking for a nice brightly colour dress however I’ve fallen in love with a cardigan that I’d like to wear with it.

is a white/cream cardi ok if the dress is obviously brightly coloured? Or should I avoid all together?

I think it would be fine if your dress/accessories are otherwise colourful.

It’s fine. I don’t think anyone in the history of weddings ever has ever assumed that a white cardigan must mean the wearer is the bride, despite all other indicators of dress and being seated in the audience suggesting otherwise.
