My 13 month old DS just has no interest in food. We do finger and spoon feeding (let him play with it) but beyond popping a bit in his mouth, he’s bored after 2 minutes and screaming to get out his high chair.
We’ve done eating together, finger foods (of every single variety), distraction, gentle encouragement and we are now at the stage of having a screen on because he doesn’t mind being fed if he’s watching something, but he’s not picking it up himself.
He is just not bothered about food and I’m worried he’s not getting enough nutrients. I’d also like to get away from screens and feeding. I’d also like to reduce how much I’m breastfeeding because I’m going back to work.
Any advice?
