To want DH to take a painkiller

He is driving me mad. We are on holiday and he has an earache. It's nothing serious he often gets it a few days after he's had a cold (last 2-3days ).

He's keeps going on about it but won't take a painkiller, keeps saying it's not bad enough but he's obviously in pain.

I have all sorts of painkillers in my travel bag, he's just being stubborn and word about it.

It’s very annoying when people won’t take a pain killer for things like this. They always give weak excuses like ‘I don’t like taking tablets’. Fine, have some calpol then.

He has no problem with tablets normally. It's like he wants to be miserable.

Urghhh my ex was like this, would then proceed to moan about the headache/earache or whatever it was and expect me to be sympathetic and run around after him.

I have no patience with this. Tell him, if he won't take painkillers, then to shut up about his earache as you're not interested.

Honestly it's childish. I have told him I don't want to hear about it today or see him wincing
