silver wedding present

It is our silver wedding next week, and several people have asked us what we want for a gift.

I haven't a clue!
The problem is that I could think of things for me, or for dh, but for a joint present I just don't knwo what to suggest

any suggestions?

then it could be something for the garden / home / weekend away / meal / tickets to something - whatever is a treat for the two of you but would be more than people would generally spend of a friend's Silver wedding present.

Depends on the spend but silver - or metal - salt and pepper shakers/grinders. Georg Jensen ones are very chic.

dh suggested last night we do money for a weekend away.
Just looking at the calendar from now until Christmas and I'm not sure when exactly we could do it!
but sounds good.

I was thinking of a piece of art work too.
