Need ideas for DSis's upcoming birthday. Budget approx £50...

I got half a new upright piano.
Was a bit more than 50 quid, though.

An eternity ring. Was more than £50 though. I can't really remember any of my other gifts. I think jewellery is a nice thing. I got my friend a necklace for a recent milestone birthday and she wears it every day.

I was given bracelets from two different people. Would have been a lot less than £50 equivalent at the time. I hadn't ever had a bracelet. Made me feel quite glam and a bit more polished.

For a £50 budget I’d go for a really fancy version of something more basic, rather than the cheaper end of something fancier.

So a lovely bit or two of high-end make-up or nice wine, rather than eg a cheaper bit of jewellery or chain restaurant voucher.

DD! She was s the best birthday present ever 😍though that's not the kind of present that a sibling would typically get you..

Mine was in 2020 so probably having a glass of champagne with my parents in the garden!

Same here.😄

A lovely Molton Brown bath set with handwash. I didn't open it til a few months after my birthday and I was really shocked at how gorgeous it smelled.

DD bought me a Rituals giftset which is lovely too (the pink one)

DSis bought me a massive bunch of flowers which was gorgeous and I'd say she spent £50 or more on them.

Does she have green space or even a doorstep. A tree or rose, something that will last.

PandaG · 18/08/2024 22:26

Kindle. Was more than £50 though.

Rose bush and nice pot for the garden?

I got my first mobile phone. Above your budget I reckon.
