I'm looking for your non UPF snack ideas please - especially for kids.
Mine are fed up of chopped fruit and cucumber etc. Any genius or novelty ideas please?

Make some cakes/biscuits/cheese straws with them then have those as snacks. Bonus if it kills a few hours too!! Otherwise make some popcorn (from kernels) there are lots of topping ideas out there.

We make parmesan biscuits and use cutters so they're dinosaurs etc, apple with peanut butter goes down well and the occasional homemade smoothie, banana, Greek yoghurt, nut butter, some berries, whole milk, blitz, we have to actively try to get ds to maintain/gain weight though so ours are often relatively high calorie

Boiled eggs

Egg bites (like mini baked omelette done in muffin tins)

Cheese

Make some cheese crackers

Make small cakes/biscuits/flapjacks wtc

Plain yoghurt and berries

Cold meats, left over roast chicken etc.

Try different veggies, like sugar snap peas, mini corn on the cob, pickled veggies.

Nuts.

Peanut butter and celery.

Cheese melts (literally grate some cheese, out in a small pile on baking tray and grill it toll crispy)

Make some pastry and make tarts, sweet or savoury.

Make baba ganoush/hummus/tzatziki or similar and have with flat breads (tortilla are easy and yoghurt flatbread)

Make your own nachos, with aforementioned tortilla, grilled up with cheese and chopped tomatoes etc.

Cut open dates to take out stones and fill with peanut butter.
Cover with melted chocolate (and sea salt and/or chopped nuts if you like)
Chill in the fridge. They're so delicious! 😋

Are these snacks that are necessary to nutrition or just fun snacks during tv watching and the like?

If the latter, popcorn (real popcorn, not microwave) with various toppings.
