What this on my dog's paw?

It's a fleshy lump. Not a tick.

My dog had something in exactly that placed that looked similar , bit smoother , and it disappeared before I could get to the vet , was there for less than a week . When I spoke to the vet he thought maybe a cyst that popped .

Not a vet but that looks odd. How long has it been there? I suggest vet visit.

In my experience injuries underneath the paw often seem to erupt in an abscess on the upper surface, but that looks very different to , say an abscess from an injury on the underside of paw.

It's a fleshy lump. If you want/need a definitive diagnosis, I suggest consulting a vet. Us randoms on the internet are only going to be guessing.
