Need help finding a suitable holiday site!

Hello lovely mumsnetters!

I have seen the brains on here do amazing things before so I'm really hoping for some help.

My husbands friendship group has suggested a big group holiday, as they've all grown up and moved away it's got harder to have meet ups. We're looking at a central location for all of us and trying to do it a bit cheaper as we're not all on the same incomes.

Anyone who has any recommendations I would love to hear them! So far after extensive googling the best one I have found is hill farm in Derby, seems to tick most of the boxes but the website is not great and I can't find any more information about layout etc..

There are 5 families in total, 10 adults, 9 children, one adult and one child are disabled.

I think our extensive list of requirements is not helping too unfortunately.

So said extensive list...

  1. Must be in or around the Peak District, preferably the lower half.
  1. A fairly small site, don't want a huge site for the kids to get lost in, it's just a base.
  1. Must have a range of tent options, a couple of families are happy to bring and pitch their own basic tent, some of us are not happy campers and would only stay if there was a glamping option eg; bell tents/pods.
  1. The glamping tents/pods need to sleep 6 people.
  1. We all need decent toilet and shower facilities including disabled facilities.
  1. Would like a bit of an area for evening socialising, maybe a gazebo/decking/bbq area, we're happy to bring along our own gazebo bbq etc as long as it's permitted.
  1. Cars need to be able to be parked alongside tents/pods.
  1. Does not need to have any facilities like shops or restaurants onsite (although would be a bonus!) but if there's a shop within driving distance and a family style restaurant nearby that would be great.
  1. Website needs to show layout and ideally we could pick our own locations or pitches.
  1. Electric hookups would be great, it would be incredible if there was something like a fridge in the bell tents/pods.

I think that's it! I know it's a big ask and any help would be appreciated. If anyone has used Hill Farm in Derby your opinion would be welcome too 😁

Thank you for any help offered.
