Can anyone help me with this watch conversion?

My Nan had a terrible fall a couple of months ago and she broke her watch which means a lot to her. She’s taken it to two different jewellers who have said it can’t be repaired. I thought maybe she could turn the little Mickey Mouse’s in earrings but the jewellers wouldn’t do that either.

Anyone know of anyone who would either be able to repair the watch, or turn the links into earrings

I couldn't see the actual break but a silversmith may be able to repair it.

Have you had the watch valued? If it has any value, that will be destroyed by breaking it up into earrings. I would get some more information before I had it taken apart.

No she hasn’t had it valued. It’s sentimental value rather than any real worth.

Sorry, the 3rd picture is a bit blurry there but it’s the link that has snapped. Not one of the jellewers around here can fix it, not even by sending it off, which one place did

If you haven't searched already I would search for 'Jewellery Repairs'

Many jewellers are really just retailers, but I suspect that a 'jewellery maker' will be very expensive.
