Actual hangover from hell

I know it’s my fault, lesson learned🫣 I went out last night with friends and took it a little bit too far and have woken up feeling like death. I have the usual headache but I also keep being sick which I’ve never been sick with a hangover ever. The only different thing I did last night was have a pizza on the way home as a friend told me eating will lessen the hangover🤣

Is it quite normal to throw up the morning after? Is it a sign I’m getting old🤣

Mood, I'm right here with you, overdid it last night except my "on the way home" food was a box of 20 chicken nuggets from McDonald's 😩 I think just drinking a pint of water is better than eating tbh, too late now though.

Going to drown myself in tea and feel sorry for myself.

@MonsteraMama Yeah I think I’m regretting the pizza, it’s not been a fun morning🤢🤣 But I’m also hungry now but scared to eat. Going to send DP to the shop to get me a lucozade🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope you feel better soon!

I sympathise OP. I overindulged a few weeks ago and was really sick the next day and it was a work day which added to the pain!

I'm in my early 50s now and anything more than 2 glasses of wine and I really feel it the next day. Not worth it!!

Get through the dsy and have an early night.

Eugh, the worst.

Replace electrolytes. Drink plenty. Painkillers! You needs carbs and fat. A nap. A shower after the nap.

Or, what my sister does, alkaseltzer. Otherwise known as kill or cure. Depends how brave you're feeling!

Or what my brother does? Hair of the dog!

Bacon sandwich and a full fat Coke. No arguments. It will bring you back from the dead.

This was me last Sunday!!

I'm 32 soon and since hitting 30 my hangovers have entered a new level. I always try to drink 3 pints of water before I call it a night and it does take the edge off the next morning!

Early twenties I was out every Thursday, getting home at 3am and in the office bright and breezy for 8.30am. How the fuck did we do it!

I experienced my very first hangover as a parent after my birthday last month….LO had turned 1 a few days prior. It wasn’t even in my top 10 worst hangovers list but absolutely would not recommend! Zero stars, led on the floor being bashed with a light up singing hammer he had kindly been gifted praying the painkillers kicked in! Grim!
