I need to take a swab of my eye when my condition is at its worst which would be morning. However it won't be taken to my doctors surgery until Monday now. I forgot to ask my GP if the swab needs to be taken on the day of drop off or if it can be taken days before. I'm worried my current flare up will be cleared by Monday and I'll miss my chance, so would ideally need to take it tomorrow morning. Has anyone on here had to do an eye swab before and would happen to know how far in advance before drop off it can be taken, or any medical profession on here who may know??
