Had a really crappy year, H and I split around Christmas and it's been a nightmare financially, but we're getting there now.
A couple of months later my youngest DD started being sent home from school with panic attacks, which eventually manifested into full time school phobia and she missed almost the whole last term of school.
School were horrible to us, we applied for EHC needs assessment (she already has diagnosed SEN) and got knocked back so had to put in for a tribunal.
This week found the LA have agreed to assess without going to tribunal!! Which I'm so pleased about.
This morning I was looking for something nice for us to do for a couple of days, just a little holiday somewhere but couldn't find anything inspiring. Then got an email from ticketmaster saying I had been selected from the waitlist to buy Taylor Swift tickets for Wembley tomorrow.
DD1 in particular is a massive Swiftie and we had been planning to stand outside Wembley yesterday, but then they stopped that. When H and I split up we tried to get tickets but just got waitlisted.
Got 3 tickets for 60 quid each (nosebleed ones lol) so we're off to see her tomorrow.
DD1 then got a letter from Premium Bonds with a cheque for about £25 later on today.
Good things come in threes!
I've had so much to feel worried about this last year it's just so lovely to have some positive things happen for me and my girls (I'm not worried about security, I get that some people are and that feels valid to them, but for us it;'s not an issue - we have to live our lives).
