Taylor Swift Wembley buses

I am going to see Taylor on Saturday and we are planning to get the bus from Wembley to Alperton to pick up the Piccadilly line there.

It looks like I walk along Lakeside Way and there is a stop on Empire Way, I'm just concerned about road closures affecting the bus routes.

Is there anyone local that can advise on what the buses run like after a concert?

Traffic around Wembley after a concert is a nightmare.

Where are you trying to get to?

Met line meets the Piccadilly line often so you will probably be better on the train even if you go a couple of stops the wrong way to come back.

Some of the buses will be on diversion. You're best checking the TFL announcements.

We are heading back to Osterley. Trying to avoid going in to get out of that makes sense?

I see. I guess see what Citymapper says at the time but I would reckon that Met Line to Rayners Lane and then in and out again on Piccadilly would be quickest. They tend to out on more trains than buses
