Immunity so low - peri-menopause or something else?

I am 43 and currently in a constant cycle of immunity hell.

I am currently on day 5 of a virus that has kept me bed bound. This is my 4th such virus since march and each time spent up to a week in bed.

I have suddenly developed reactions to face creams that leave me itching and swollen for days.

I have never experienced hayfever before but this year, I had extremely swollen eyes and a blocked nose for 6 weeks.

I developed some gastro problems last year and have had many tests over the last year including X-rays and CT scans and heart checks so I don’t think there is a medical problem as surely it would have been picked up. The gastro problems have eased significantly but I seem to have been left with this issue.

Is anyone else experiencing the same?

It is possible to develop auto immune conditions out of the blue.
All I can suggest is that you ask your GP if it's possible to do blood tests for auto immune diseases, or get referred to Rheumatology.
