Spurts of ageing at 44 and 60

According to a new study, there are two, not one, time periods in our lives when we show sudden signs of ageing. There is a burst of ageing at 44, and then at 60, accoriding to research done at Stanford University in the US. This busts the general notion that our bodies and minds decline in a slow process, referred to as 'linear ageing'.

Only in terms of eyesight. But I turned 44 during lockdown, and dramatically increased the amount I was both reading and exercising- so that could explain it. Reading more = eyesight much worse, exercising more = other expected ageing held at bay a bit.

Yes,I turned 60 last October and I must say that I'm definitely feeling my age a lot more lately. Can't say I noticed the same at 44 though.
