no attention or showing feelings

I have been with my partner 3 years now he is 60 years old im mid 50s, he hardly shows any feelings, he says you know i love you, but never shows much affection is this normal?

What do you mean shows no affection ? No kissing or cuddling ? Do you hold hands when you are out ? How's your sex life ? It sounds like your love languages are different and some people aren't great with saying those little words like I love you

Nothings normal in relationships but I would want affection, no matter how long the relationship was. I want hugs, kissing, hand holding and general affection. I wouldn't be happy with no intimacy.
