Scan on brain - high blood pressure

Husband being sent for scan on brain, this is due to having high blood pressure and doctor unsure why

Went to docs with headache ( behind eyes) and high BP

What could it be ?

I am completely freaking out and now terrified he has a brain tumor

Did the doctor give an indication of why and how quickly is the scan? I was sent to A&E with high blood pressure and headaches. I turned out to have pneumonia (random!) and I was under a lot of pressure. Once the infection was treated and I took some annual leave from work, I returned to normal blood pressure. It took some time! I do keep an eye on my stress levels now. I’m not on any meds for it either.

@YOYOK he said because his BP Is so high without a valid reason he wanted to get it chdked because of the headaches

Did they tell you your results right away?

If it was something serious would you be told right away?

I was sent to A&E so yes, I had the all clear before going home.
