If your child is starting university in September how are they/you financing it?
DD is starting an NHS course at our local uni and will live at home. She will continue with her part-time job and will get her fees paid, an annual bursary of £1000 and a small means-tested bursary of a few hundred.
We are lucky she can do the course she wants locally and would rather live at home.
