Has anyone fixed their dopamine addiction?

Maybe I'm talking to the wrong people, MN is definitely a part of mine, but it's got out of hand.

I can't focus non anything, I don't don't do things I used to enjoy. I spend far too many hours on my phone, many of them when I really should be doing something else.

When I do (briefly) stop MN and FB, I have the same issues with messaging, constantly checking for replies.

What is the reason behind it though? I do similar but I have ADHD and medication has helped me.

I have started to wonder if I might have ADHD recently, actually. No one else has ever suggested it as a possible issue for me though.

A lot of the dopamine addiction symptoms are the same as ADHD in women?

It's a recognised issued, I'm aimlessly scrolling now.

I always say I'll put my phone down at say 8 pm and ignore it unless I get a call or text, but then something random pops into my head and I'm back going down Google rabbit holes.

I'm the same and I hate it about myself. I've got loads of books lined up on my kindle that I keep buying and want to read but the next thing you know I've wasted all my time on mn and social media. Or buying things for that shopping hit. The buzz comes from the buying to be honest, I'm not bothered half the time when things come.
