I'm going to go to the cinema alone this afternoon

I go quite often and enjoy it.

I usually choose a true story or political type drama.

My choices today are Trap or It Ends with Us

Trap is described as a horror (not my thing at all) but looks more like a high suspense thriller to me, in the trailer. It Ends with Us is about coercive control and looks my kind of film, but I'm not sure about watching it alone in public.

If I'm honest, they're both films the (long ago) young woman in me would have liked to watch with a man, with a shoulder, to bury my face in 😆

Which would you choose?

I heard that Trap was quite good. Tbh none of them sound appealing to me though.

Trap would be my choice. Looks good from the trailer.

I'd go with It Ends With Us. I love going to the cinema on my own, quite jealous now!

Neither sound appealing to me, but my tastes run to moody French films with close ups of people drinking coffee.

But I’m not sure a film about domestic violence is one you’d want to watch with a male shoulder to bury your face in, anyway? Go for the horror?

Nothing 'horror' like in Trap, so you'd be OK to watch it. It's definitely more of a thriller. I saw it on Monday and it was brilliant.

I'd go for "Trap"

I'm going to see Trap tomorrow with a friend, and It Ends With Us on Sunday. Looking forward to both.

Hope Trap isn't a horror as I hate scary stuff.

Trap, but then the last movies I watched were Twisters and Deadpool & Wolverine - It ends with us is definitely not my kind of film!
