So bloated all the time I think it's my ovary

My left one to be exact. Since may, I've now twice had mid cycle spotting around ovulation which I've never ever had before. I am 6 months post partum if that's relevant. In may when it first happened I had significant ovulation pain, and on and off niggles there since. Since then I'm just so bloated I look 6 mi the pregnant, which is depressing considering I'm trying to lose belly fat from being having two babies in 16 months.

Does this sound like an ovarian cyst?

Other symptoms I have are major hot flushes, I seem to be hot all the time, like I cannot handle any heat. I am sometimes absolutely shattered, my period came a week early the last two cycles and wasn't as heavy as they have been.

Forgot to add - I switched my antidepressants from sertraline to citalopram around the end of may but I'm not convinced that is causing bloating as I've been on lots of antidepressants over the years and that along with hot flushes has never been a side effect !

Get it checked. Ovarian cysts can grow very quickly.

Hi, it might be perimenopause. Mine came shortly after giving birth - the hormonal shock can do this! Or even if it’s not perimenopause, it can be hormonal - your body has been through a lot! Hotflushes, irregular periods and spotting sound hormonal to me.
have it checked to be sure but that’s my experience x

Have you had any pain?

My main symptoms with my ovarian cyst, was initially repeated UTI's which turned out not to be. That move onto constant abdominal pain, my periods didn't change and I didn't have any significant bloating, although I did feel sick. Possibly from the pain.

The first cyst I had showed no symptoms and was only drained as I had to have surgery for something else at the time. They found it while I was pregnant, didn't cause any problems during pregnancy or with the birth.

Abdominal bloating needs to be checked out, particularly if you think it's ovarian. Please go and see your GP ASAP.

Sorry I have done a thing online for the gp should've said. They should be calling in the next couple of days.
Bloody hope it's not menopause I'm only 34!!!

I've had some pain, nothing major though. My hip hurts on the same side but I do have a herniated disc which causes sciatica so usually put it down to that. It's the bloating more than anything getting me down, I look pregnant, I'm not exactly skinny but I'm not big either but I have noticed a definite change in the last 3 months.

I've also been constipated since during pregnancy, it is much better than it was but still happening every so often

Worrying myself a little now about tumours !!

Also both my babies I had c sections with, so I've had to c sections in 16 months. The surgeon told me not to have anymore babies for a couple of years and that my bladder was stuck to my womb, she didn't actually tell me though if they separated them, how would I find this out ? Can adhesions cause bloating and constipation ?
