When an art class says it's suitable for beginners

Do they mean people who can't even draw....at all?

I need to find an interest/challenge and this is a long way outside my comfort zone, but is it ridiculous?.

Honestly, even my stickmen are terrible 😆

Try to speak to the organiser or teacher but if it says beginners, that’s what it means.

There are so many tutorials on Youtube. You could grab a pencil and a sketch pad and learn loads in an evening. What sort of drawing did you want to do? Just have a search. I have been practicing my technical drawing, just recently. Don't know why, we had to learn it at school and it came back to me so I had a look. I'm going to learn how to draw rooms in one point perspective next, which looks like a nice progression. Anyway, it will give you a basis to go to a class with something in your sketchbook already so you don't look like a total noob!
