Will I be able to shop on amazon whilst on holiday for delivery at home?

Basically it's dd's birthday a few days after we return from holiday. I'd like to order some presents and party bits for delivery to my mums house whilst we're away. Will this work? We're going to Rhodes if that matters.

Yes if you have Internet and a safe space

Yes but remember to change the store to the UK one as it will likely default to Greece.

Ha ha I read that as she needs a safe space on Rhodes to be in while she browses Amazon!

Yes OP, Amazon’s UK site is not like the BBC, you can access it anywhere and you can deliver to anywhere in the UK.

Me too! I had visions of OP shopping on Amazon in a bunker 😂

I'm sure this will be possible. We were on holiday in Japan a few weeks ago, I had an order from Amazon Japan delivered to our hotel before we arrived. As pp said make sure you are on UK site.

I ordered stuff when I was in Tenerife to be there when I got back from holiday. It worked fine.

On holiday in Spain years and years ago - my mother had just moved house. She rang me to say she needed a new washing machine. I managed to order one and get it delivered and set up, with the old one taken away, the very next day.

you should not have any problem at all. And if you don't want your mum to wrap the present, or don't want to have to do it as soon as you get home - you can get Amazon to gift wrap it!
