I scalded my foot last night

I made myself a 750ml pot of tea, put it on my desk beside my bed and it jumped off and covered my foot and bed in boiling hot tea. The red ring has 2 blisters inside and the purple ring is the whole area of redness. It is incredibly difficult not to pop the blister, but I'm not going to.
I asked a pharmacist what to do and I'm now the proud owner of some antibacterial cream, wound pads and bandages.

Brain fart.
*antiseptic, not anti bacterial.

Ouch. That sounds really painful.
Hope your foot recovers quickly.

I once boiled a pot of pasta and dropped the entire thing on my foot. It blistered over a few days and then popped. Scabbed over and healed pretty well.

I did similar. Struggled to get it to heal until pharmacist advised dry dressing infusec with something- sorry, can't remember what and not at home to check. Absolute magic! Kept scald dry and allowed it to heal.

My Dh did this. He got some kind of special gel dressings which kept the wound moist. He said they really helped. Then used Tropics tamanu balm once new skin starting growing. I'm not a tropics person , just was given a pot for this and it was amazing. Stinks mind you...

Lavender oil helps heal burns.
