Bottomless brunch at a blues bar. I feel so unconfident and rubbish in all my clothes and how I look at the moment. Willing to buy something new but no idea what.

It depends on so much - your usual style, and preferred style and (hate to say it) your body shape, and what will make you feel comfortable and good about yourself!

If it were me (mid 40's, chubby but not huge) - I'd wear tapered trousers (with ankles on show), simple flats like ballet pumps, a shell top, or boxy shirt + a long-line blazer. All in lightish colours.

I don't really have any style. I'm early 30s.
I'm a size 16, curvy all over.

Honestly, just wear what you want, wear what you feel comfortable wearing, fashion these days seem to be so different anyway, literally anything goes, maybe apart from crocs, but then again my daughter has been known to wear crocs out and about!

Ask for this to put on style and beauty.
Some of the people on there are amazing! suggestions or finding things you had never thought of

I think you can contact Mumsnet, you might have to report your own thread and choose "other" then in the box ask if it can be moved to the style board though I'm not 100% of the process . If that doesn't work just start a new thread x
