Gift ideas for my Mum’s birthday?

Hello I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for gifts for my lovely Mum’s birthday next month please? She is notoriously hard to buy for and always just says “I don’t want anything” so my standard go to is usually a nice bunch of flowers from the florist and some posh cakes from the bakery.

She will be turning 45. She doesn’t really drink or wear makeup. Not into skincare or perfume (I buy her one bottle at Christmas that lasts the whole year). Doesn’t workout or read. Has no hobbies. Is an avid coffee drinker and loves chocolate/cakes.

I can’t suggest somewhere like a fancy afternoon tea or a dinner out because she always insists on paying once we get there! Can’t really book a trip away or a day out unless it’s a voucher which can be rescheduled because I have a disabled younger sibling who lives with her and nailing a day down is a nightmare. I bought her a spa voucher one year and it was rescheduled so many times they almost cancelled it.

It will be her first birthday as Nana so I’ve got her a few bits from my DD that say this. Any ideas other than my usual flowers and cakes will be appreciated! Budget around £150.

That's loads of money! A coffee machine and some proper nice coffee? As in Not supermarket coffee? I love to listen to audiobooks when I go to bed so maybe an Audible subscrption, if you think she would like that? If she reads, how about a subscription to a book club where she can get a new book every month? Or a magazine? If she likes technology, isn't afraid of having things 'listen' to her and doesn't already have them... some Amazon devices (or Google if she prefers). My whole home is run by Amazon. I use it to turn on lights, set timers and reminders, find recipes, wake me up in the morning, play music and audiobooks, find information, make shopping lists - everything! Or even a flower subscription so that your one bunch of flowers becomes several, spread through the year.

Just a few ideas.....

How about a massage salon certificate? It won't be a one time visit and it would be more "useful" than a spa could be (just a thought)
Is she into tech? An Amazon device as suggested above would be great, or you can go with something more lighthearted, like a digital photo frame maybe.
If you want something sentimental, you can make a family photo calendar, bonus points if you add photos of the grandkid as well!
If you know her friends or collegues she is friendly with, or if there are other family members willing to participate, you can cooperate for a birthday video for her. Keep it simple: everyone records themselves saying something nice to her or about her and then you join these videos into a long one (there is a guide on joining video clips, too). Or you can find more birthday video ideas here and here.
Also note that if she doesn't really like anything new, a fancy cake and flowers should be your go-to and other ideas would be just a nice addition. My dad is like this, he wants a good cake and nothing else, but he also enjoys getting shirts that are his style.
By the way, how about clothing? Does she like fashion, maybe she would be intersted in a posh bag or some other designer item?
