Would this put you off the job?

I have made a massive mistake I think.
Started my job today
Full time
It's min wage so I really need full time hours
Today they have said it's between 30-40 hours a week
My first rota is 30 hours
I can't afford not to get the extra 7.5 hours a week.
It makes a huge difference to us.

Would this make you think of applying for something else?

I would say depending on job . You aren’t that useful in terms of numbers , as you become more experienced your hours tend to increase .

however .. jobs in retail - expect a drop in hours in January .

what was you doing before ?

What is your work experience like? I'd leave it 6 months if you can longer if you have minimal work experience or a large gap. In the meantime Id look into courses to up my earning potential.

It's a reception role
I have done call centres which were more money but I hated it
