What are your favourite nostalgic films?

I'm having a bit of a wobble with stress and anxiety at the minute and I think some relaxing nostalgia would help. It can be any genre, I'm talking anywhere from Nosferatu to What Women Want, I enjoy most things!

What are your favourites that just send you to a whole other place in time when you watch them?

My older DS has made it his summer holiday mission to watch a load of classic movies. This has ranged from;

Jaws (which is a terrific film now I am an adult!)
To Catch A Thief
Psycho
Casablanca
titanic
Jurassic park
The Poseiden Adventure
The Lion King
The Jungle Book
To Kill a Mockingbird (which he has to do for GCSEs next year)
A Night to Remember (all the Titanic and shipwreck themes are nostalgic for us because he went through a major obsession aged around 9)

We are so far through them all with only To Catch a thief and Casablanca to go

Lots of fantastic suggestions here. These will keep me busy/lost for the next few days!

Just rented The Ghost and Mrs Muir on prime to start now as it's one I've never seen, I could look at Gene Tierney's lovely face all day.
